Coach Wheaton did WHAT?
After three years at the helm of the
Weatherford football program, head coach
Kenny Wheaton resigned Monday, citing
family reasons and budget cuts.

Golf Professional Bruce
Devlin will
host a golf clinic prior to Tee time.
Former
PGA and Senior PGA Tour Professional
Bruce Devlin was on hand at the Roos
Classic Golf Tournament Saturday, at
Canyon West Golf Club. The
Australian-born Devlin, who has designed
numerous golf courses before and after
retirement from the tour, gave a brief
clinic to tourney participants before
the noon shotgun start, with tips on
gripping the club and improving back
spin. The tournament was held by the
Booster Club to benefit Weatherford
football and to help perpetuate the
on-going campaign to celebrate 100 years
of WHS football.
